Where to stay in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has one of the highest concentrations of large resort hotels in the world. The Strip — Las Vegas Boulevard South — is the obvious anchor, stretching roughly 4.5 miles and containing the world-famous mega-resorts. Downtown (Fremont Street) is more affordable and increasingly hip. Off-Strip neighborhoods like the Arts District offer boutique options with a local flavor. For day-trippers focused on national park tours, hotels near the south end of the Strip or I-15 minimize driving time.
